The speaker system consists of seven pole mounted, full range speakers for the east and west side bleachers, and eight full range, portable speakers on stands with a portable amplifier rack.  Electronics installed include amplifiers, processors and a mixer in a wall rack in the press box on the west side, and a second rack on the east side.  Racks are connected with a fiber optic cable.  A box with two input jacks, one portable speaker jack and switches to turn the system on and off are installed on the west side.  This is a multipurpose facility with different modes of operation.  During football the home side bleacher and field speakers are turned on.  During graduation the end speakers are on with a portable system supplying sound to the rear half of the stadium.  Presets on the digital signal processor are utilized to provide the correct source realism and control of the time delay synchronization.
