Kansas Star Casino

McClelland Sound strives to create great experiences for your clients AND to create a great collaboration experience for you. At the new Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, Kansas we installed over 100 display devices programmable from 17 sources and a networked sound system providing audio and video from every angle throughout the 99,000 square foot facility. We created a great experience for casino visitors, and we met the needs of the owners: integrating a system to be temporarily installed in one space, and then moving it into another space, without interrupting their business.

The project began in 2011 with the construction of the arena, which housed the casino temporarily. Once the arena was complete, construction began on the casino. When the casino was complete, McClelland Sound engineers and techs went into overdrive, moving the whole setup from its temporary home in the arena to its new home in the casino. Paul Colella, Project Manager, worked 42 hours straight to see the project completed.

And then it was back to remodel the arena, which now needed a dedicated sound system.

The work and relationships continue. Kansas Star Casino has enjoyed great success as an entertainment destination in southeast Kansas and McClelland Sound has worked alongside the casino as they expand their offerings.
