Crown Uptown Theater

The challenge in this historic Wichita facility was to deliver full-range, natural sound to the entire audience. This was accomplished by utilizing three rows of speakers. The first row consists of a small box speaker mounted to the stage lip for the first row of tables. The second row consists of three large box speakers for the first tier of seating; the third row consists of three large box speakers for the second tier of seating. All of the speakers are time-delay-synchronized with a digital signal processor with four channels of amplification.
