Since 1928, McClelland Sound has been refining the sights and sounds that enhance your world. As the largest and most experienced sound engineering and contracting firm in Kansas, we have installed sound and video systems in thousands of churches, schools, hospitals, businesses, restaurants, retail stores, factories and municipal buildings. Whether hi-fi or hi-def, our dedicated team works to ensure that your audio-visual experience is the best it can be.
McClelland Sound is the brainchild of Herbert “Mac” McClelland. He and his brother, Harold, loved all things sound. In 1918, they built the first radio transmitter, broadcast the first regularly scheduled weather reports in the nation and presented the first “voice radio” demonstration. The company has remained a family enterprise since its founding in 1928. Today, President Janice McClelland, Mac’s granddaughter, leads McClelland Sound.
For nearly a century, McClelland Sound has provided leading-edge sound and video technology throughout the Midwest: entertainment venues, hotels, houses of worship, offices, restaurants, retail centers and schools. Our dedicated team has more than 150 years of collective experience in the industry. With this rich history in sound and video, system design, installation, equipment sales and service, we will help you look and sound your best.
